Description We are looking for innovative, self-starting individuals with a passion for working in the busy and dynamic bus industry. We are looking to recruit Advanced Engineers (HGV/PSV Technician level 3) to join our Engineering teams, across our London Depot’s, working a shift pattern of 4 days on and 4 days off; yes that means you will have half of the year to yourself unless you choose to work voluntary overtime to further boost the highly competitive wages that are on offer. 5 day shifts are also available.
Key Responsibilities Inspecting, repairing and maintaining our buses. Investigating and diagnosing any mechanical and electronic faults. Recording those faults, and the work we’ve done to fix them, using a tablet. Following safety instructions and reporting any issues.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Have at least an NVQ or City and Guilds level 3 qualification for maintenance and repair of public service vehicles or heavy goods vehicles (or an equivalent international qualification). If you do not currently hold an IRTEC in service maintenance technician, inspection technician and advanced technician, training will be provided. PCV licence is desired but not essential. Don’t worry if you don’t as we would also love to teach you to drive our buses. Have a good standard of Maths and English. Be able to read and understand instructions and service manuals. Know how to use fleet management technical computer systems. Be good in a team – whether that’s working with your direct colleagues or beyond. Be able to meet deadlines and work flexibly when we need you to (for instance, we might ask you to work from a different depot or take a different shift). Be happy to take any training the service manager asks you to. Be able to work well using your own initiative.
