About the Role

We are recruiting for Advanced Engineers (HGV/PSV Technician Level 3) to work across our London Depots, following a 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern. This means you’ll have half of every year off—unless you choose to work voluntary overtime to boost your wages further. Alternatively, 5-day shift options are also available.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigation and diagnosis of mechanical and electrical faults
- Inspection, repair, and maintenance of vehicles
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Must hold at least an NVQ or City and Guilds Level 3 qualification in maintenance and repair of public service vehicles (PSVs) or heavy goods vehicles (equivalent international qualifications accepted).
- IRTEC certification (in-service maintenance technician, inspection technician, and advanced technician) is desirable but not essential—training will be provided.
- A PCV licence is preferred but not mandatory (training taught in-house if needed).
- Strong maths and English proficiency, including the ability to read and understand technical manuals.
- Knowledge of fleet management technical computer systems.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Must be able to work flexibly—adapting to shifts, locations, and deadlines as required.
- Willingness to undertake any training requested by the service manager.
- Ability to work with initiative and take responsibility.
