Join Transport UK (London Bus)—where innovation and teamwork power our fleet! We’re seeking Advanced Engineers (HGV/PSV Technician Level 3) to maintain our buses at our busy London depots. Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair, and maintain all buses in our fleet, keeping them safe and operational.
- Diagnose mechanical/electronic faults, from engine systems to electrification components.
- Record faults and repairs digitally on tablets for fleet tracking.
- Follow strict safety protocols and report hazards immediately.
- Work across depots/shifts as required—flexibility ensures our buses stay rolling.

Requirements & Qualifications
Essential
- A Level 3 qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds) in PSV/HGV maintenance (equivalent international qualifications welcome).
- Maths and English to GCSE standard (or equivalent) for manuals/instructions.
- Team player attitude—collaborate across shifts/depots under pressure.
- Willingness to learn—training provided for IRTEC (technician certificates) if needed.
Desirable (but trainable!)
- PCV licence (bus driving qualification) (not essential—we’ll train you!)
- Experience with fleet management systems (assignments provided).
- Problem-solving initiative—think independently to troubleshoot issues.
