About the Role

We are recruiting Advanced Engineers (HGV/PSV Technician Level 3) to support our busy engineering teams across London depots. Successful applicants will work on a 4-day on, 4-day off roster pattern, with the option for paid voluntary overtime—ensuring opportunities for competitive salary growth.
Quality 5-day shift roles are also available.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair, and maintain fleet buses
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults with precision
- Record faults and remedial work via tablet-based documentation
- Follow safety protocols vigilently and escalate issues to managers

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Hold at least an NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in PSV or HGV maintenance/repair or equivalent
- If lacking an IRTEC certification (service, inspection or advanced technician), the role includes trained upskilling
- Preferred: PCV licence (not mandatory—we’ll train you to drive our buses too!)
Technical & Soft Skills
- Strong Mathematics and English (written and oral) proficiency
- Ability to read & understand manuals and service instructions
- Familiarity with fleet fleet management systems
- Proven ability to work flexibly around deadlines and shift changes (e.g. depot relocations)
- Self-motivated with scope for independent task management
