Advanced Practice Physiotherapist - Pain Team Leader
Circle Integrated Care | Greenwich
37.5 Hours | Permanent
Salary: Up to £64,500.00 per year (dependent on experience, training, and qualification)

We are seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Physiotherapist to lead our Physiotherapy Pain Team.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Providing expert assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with complex and persistent pain conditions, including musculoskeletal and neuropathic pain.
- Working autonomously to triage, assess, and manage patients using advanced clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
- Acting as the clinical lead for pain services within the organisation, ensuring best practice and patient outcomes.
- Providing clinical leadership through teaching, mentoring, and supervision of physiotherapists, First Contact Practitioners (FCPs), and Advanced Practice Physiotherapists (APPs).
- Collaborating with consultants, GPs, psychologists, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver holistic patient care.
- Leading and participating in clinical audit, service evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with clinical standards and organisational policies.

Person Specification – Essential Criteria
To fulfil this role successfully, applicants must hold:
- A degree in Physiotherapy.
- Full registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Significant experience working at Advanced Practice level in MSK physiotherapy.
- Demonstrable expertise in chronic and persistent pain management.
- Proven leadership experience within a clinical setting.
- Strong advanced clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
