Experienced Occupational Therapist Wanted
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, motivated Band 7 Children’s Occupational Therapist who is keen to develop their specialist clinical skills and leadership abilities.
Role Overview
- Position: Permanent part-time (0.8 WTE)
- Location: The Oak Tree Centre in Huntingdon
- Team: Part of an effective, innovative, and successful service recognized for outstanding care
Responsibilities
- Hold a caseload
- Supervise and line manage other team members
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the service
- Work across Cambridgeshire
- Collaborate with housing, social care, and health colleagues
Key Requirements
- Ability to balance clinical priorities
- Support for Team Lead and Associate Team Lead
- Supervision of staff
- Active contribution to band 7 meetings
- Delegated roles by the Team Leader

Service Delivery
- Provide an integrated Occupational Therapy service to children, young people, and their families
- Focus on major housing adaptations
- Specialist knowledge in the assessment of housing needs and provision, including adaptations and equipment needs
- Effective working relationships with community occupational therapists and colleagues in social care and housing
Additional Information
- Responsible for your own caseload and providing expert clinical support
- Actively participate in the development of the service
- Mixed caseload at advanced practitioner level
