Community Integrated Care is recruiting for an Advanced Support Worker, with flexible shift patterns.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced support worker to step up. You will support adults with learning disabilities and autism, who have complex needs, to lead the best life possible.

Our charity was founded in 1988 and we were one of the pioneers of the ‘Care in the Community’ agenda, enabling people to move out of long-stay institutions and live more fulfilling lives.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a brand-new service in Culcheth, Warrington, supporting two adults with learning disabilities, autism, complex health needs and behavioural needs to live happy, meaningful and independent lives in their own homes.
The service is set within a purpose-built building, separated into two individual homes, each with their own garden, living spaces, and staff areas. Both individuals are proud of their independence, and your role will be to support them with their routines — not to do things for them. Consistency is incredibly important, as both people thrive when supported in familiar, predictable ways.

Both individuals have access to their own cars, so you’ll be part of supporting them to get out and about for activities, appointments and hobbies. The service is located on a quiet cul-de-sac just off a main road, with excellent links to Warrington, Manchester, Wigan and Liverpool. There is ample parking outside the building.
Staffing Model
- One person requires 1:1 support at all times and 2:1 when out in the community
- The second person requires 2:1 support at all times
The existing team are trained in: Administration of medication, Active Support, CPI and PBS
As an Advanced Support Worker, you’ll bring your experience and will mentor colleagues, role-model best practice, think creatively, and adapt support styles to meet individual needs. You’ll bring enthusiasm, problem-solving skills, and the confidence to work consistently as part of a strong, committed team.

Ideally, you’ll hold a Level 3 Qualification in Social Care and have strong experience in areas such as mental health, autism, learning disabilities and complex care. If you don’t have a qualification but bring significant experience in social care, we’d still love to hear from you, and you can work towards the qualification alongside your new role!
