Community Integrated Care is recruiting for an Advanced Support Worker, with flexible shift patterns.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced support worker to step up. You will support adults with learning disabilities and autism, who have complex needs, to lead the best life possible.

This is an exciting opportunity for caring, compassionate, and talented Advanced Support Workers, to work within an established service, supporting 1 person with an acquired brain injury, whilst also promoting their choices, wellbeing, and independence.

This service is a bungalow, located in Ashton-in-Makerfield.

The person supported here enjoys getting out and about in the local community, yoga, Pilates, watching the soaps in the evenings, and doing girly activities like hair and nails.

They do have a car and would love their Advanced Support Workers to be able to drive.

The person supported here would also love their team to allow them to be independent, be reliable, and have clear communication skills.

Due to the person supported and their needs, we would be looking for female support staff to join the team.

This vacancy is for 30 hours & the typical shifts here are during the day and also including sleeps too.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 in Social Care and strong experience in mental health, autism and sensory communication, and physical health.

If you do not have a qualification, you will need to have experience in social care.

You will know how to connect with people and be passionate about supporting people to live independently. You will also be a brilliant mentor and share your skills and experiences with your colleagues.

We will develop your talents with a range of specialist training, including the opportunity to learn Positive Behaviour Support methods, Makaton, and the Picture Exchange System.

During recruitment you will meet the people we support in their home. This will allow you to see their wonderful personalities first-hand and fully understand the level of support that they require.
