Advertising Executive
European Ecommerce Agency Fully Remote: UK based
Running Point Recruitment has partnered with a leading European agency that helps brands grow across retail and ecommerce. We are looking for a data driven and analytical Performance Executive to join their growing ecommerce team, supporting the management and optimisation of Amazon Advertising campaigns across a portfolio of brands.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in Amazon Advertising or transferable PPC experience who wants to develop their career within Amazon performance marketing. You will work closely with experienced Performance Managers, gaining hands on exposure to campaign optimisation, reporting, data analysis and strategy.
The Role
You will support the day to day management and optimisation of Amazon Sponsored Ads campaigns, using performance data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the optimisation of Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display campaigns.
- Making bid adjustments, managing negative keywords, monitoring budgets and conducting search term analysis.
- Supporting new campaign builds and launches from initial setup through to ongoing optimisation.
- Conducting keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Pulling and analysing performance data, identifying trends and flagging anomalies and opportunities.
- Producing regular performance reports and contributing to brand and client updates.
- Using tools such as SmartScout, Xnurta, MerchantSpring and Amazon Search Query Performance reports.
- Developing your knowledge of Amazon DSP and AMC through structured training and shadowing.
- Supporting wider Amazon marketplace activity, including listing checks, audits and case management when required.
- Developing an understanding of emerging Amazon search and AI developments, including Rufus, COSMO and Generative Engine Optimisation.

About You
You will have a strong analytical mindset and be comfortable working with data to understand performance and identify opportunities.
You may already have experience with Amazon Advertising, or you could come from a broader PPC or performance marketing background with transferable skills and an interest in developing your Amazon expertise.
You will ideally bring:
- Experience or a good understanding of PPC and paid advertising campaign optimisation.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data.
- An understanding of key advertising metrics such as impressions, clicks, CTR, conversion rate and ROAS.
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to campaign management.
- Confidence working with reporting and performance data.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A willingness to learn new platforms, tools and technologies.
- A proactive approach and the confidence to ask questions and seek support when needed.

Career Progression
This role provides a structured development path towards becoming an Advertising Manager, with ongoing training and hands on experience designed to build your confidence in managing Amazon Advertising campaigns and brand performance.
As you develop, you will progress towards independently managing Sponsored Ads campaigns, analysing performance, contributing to brand strategy and participating in client facing performance conversations.
Progression is based on demonstrated capability and performance rather than length of service, providing a clear pathway for developing your career within Amazon performance marketing.
