Advertising Manager
Team: Client Services
Reporting to: Advertising Director (Team Lead)
The role in a nutshell:
As an Advertising Manager you will be responsible for managing client relationships and executing advertising strategies across Amazon Sponsored Ads and Amazon DSP. Your role will be centred around building long term relationships with our clients, curating, executing and reporting on advertising strategies based on agreed commercial targets.
A bit about us:
Toucan is a full-service Amazon agency (based in the UK, NAM & APAC) and an Amazon Advertising Advanced partner that supports brands to accelerate their businesses globally. We specialise in Amazon strategy, Sponsored Advertising, programmatic DSP advertising and content creation (static and video).
We are proud to say that we are working with some of the biggest brands in FMCG, grocery, sports nutrition, healthcare, and beauty, just to name a few. We handle Amazon revenue in excess of £100M globally, and this is rapidly growing.
You will be working with a highly motivated, supportive team and we are eager for an individual to come in with a ‘can-do’ attitude and the desire to learn and add value wherever possible.
Key Responsibilities:
The role involves liaising with senior stakeholders to create, execute and report on advertising strategies across a diverse media mix. You are to maintain and build positive client relationships whilst delivering success for our clients in their advertising objectives.
You will be:
- Working and planning with clients on their Amazon advertising strategy [Sponsored Ads and Amazon DSP]
- Working with clients to lead Amazon Ads strategy through data-led media plans, tailored to client KPIs.
- Forecasting and managing client budgets; executing advertising campaigns in line with agreed KPIs
- Liaising with Amazon Vendor/Seller Managers, and wider account management team
- Executing and reporting on campaign performance
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve performance
- Supporting brands with expansion into Amazon DSP and advertising in new marketplaces
- Regularly meeting with clients, leading strategy across
- Networking with clients and industry members to gain new leads and opportunities

Skills/Requirements:
- University degree or relevant business experience
- Previous client management experience
- 1 year of paid search experience (Amazon Sponsored Ads would be a bonus)
- 1 year of DSP management experience (Amazon DSP would be a bonus) - familiarity with ad formats, media planning, optimisation, data analysis and implementing full funnel strategies
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft products; Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Strong organisational skills and adaptable under pressure
- High-energy and self-motivated, with an ability to work in both a team and individually
- Hardworking, flexible and has a can-do attitude
