Newton Media is looking for an Advertising Production Assistant to become the central hub of our advertising operations, helping to deliver campaigns across our print magazines, websites, email newsletters, and digital publications.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in ad operations, production, campaign management, publishing, media, or agency environments who enjoys working independently while being part of a collaborative team.

About The Role

As an Advertising Production Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in managing advertising production and supporting operations across print, digital, and online platforms. You will be the primary production contact for clients, ensuring smooth communication with the design team and the accurate placement of adverts. Your organisational skills and attention to detail will help drive the timely delivery and performance of advertising campaigns.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage advertising production workflows for print, digital, and online platforms
  • Act as the main production contact for clients and coordinate with the design team
  • Ensure accurate placement of adverts and timely delivery of campaigns
  • Coordinate advertising assets and maintain production schedules
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide client-facing reports
  • Manage directories, metadata, and inventory to support efficient advertising operations

Requirements

What we're looking for

You'll be someone who thrives on organisation, takes pride in accuracy, and enjoys working directly with clients.

You'll ideally have:

  • 2+ years of experience in a production, traffic, or ad operations role within publishing, media, or agency environments
  • Experience coordinating advertising assets through receipt, proofing, client approval, and handoff to designers
  • Experience managing print magazine advertising production workflows, including flat plan adherence prior to publication
  • Experience producing client-facing reports or presentations on advertising campaign performance
  • Hands-on experience using Google Ad Manager to set up and traffic digital advertising campaigns
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Experience supporting advertising operations across multiple channels including print adverts, email newsletter ads, and website display ads
  • Experience acting as the main production contact for advertisers/clients and coordinating between clients and a design team
  • Fluent English
  • Legal right to work in the United Kingdom without requiring visa sponsorship

  • Experience within B2B publishing or media
  • Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or graphic design skills
  • Copywriting or content creation experience
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience with digital publishing platforms and content management systems
  • Familiarity with Mailchimp, Google Analytics, ClickUp, or similar tools
