Advice Quality Specialist
Permanent ▪ Full-time (37.5 hours, Monday to Friday) Hybrid: 3 days in our Derby office, 2 days from home

About The Role
As part of our Advice Quality Team, you’ll ensure we maintain high-quality, compliant mortgage advice with consistent excellence. This is more than just compliance—it’s about customer-centric outcomes and supporting our Advisers to excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct second-line file reviews of Mortgage Advisers’ work, using a structured framework
- Review and analyse advice files to achieve the best possible customer outcomes
- Identify risks, trends, and growth opportunities to further enhance advice standards
- Provide clear, actionable feedback and guidance on necessary improvements
- Collaborate with Advisers, Business Owners, and colleagues to drive continuous improvement
- Foster a culture of learning by sharing best practices across the team

- CeMAP qualification (must-engineered)
- Strong understanding of mortgage regulation and compliance requirements
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused with sound judgement skills
- Ability to analyse risks and provide structured feedback
- Excellent time-management to meet service levels and targets
- Collaborative mindset with strong people skills (building relationships at all levels)
- Professional, transparent communications with integrity
- Flexibility to grow—working towards CeRER qualification is highly desirable
