Role Description

The Advisor and Collaborator role at Scribblesense is a full-time remote position focused on guiding educational initiatives and supporting strategic decision-making. In this role, the individual will advise on child-centered content, tools, and programs, ensuring they align with the company’s mission and educational best practices. Day-to-day tasks include:

The Advisor and Collaborator will participate in virtual meetings, synthesize input from diverse stakeholders, and help translate insights into actionable recommendations. This role also involves staying informed about trends in child education and development to continuously improve Scribblesense’s offerings.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in child education, child development, psychology, or a related field, with the ability to apply theory to practical solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams, with skill in building constructive, inclusive working relationships.
  • Ability to provide clear, structured advice; strong analytical thinking; and sound judgment in evaluating educational concepts and strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly in writing and in remote meetings, and to adapt messaging to varied audiences.
  • Comfort working in a startup environment, with adaptability, proactive problem-solving, and openness to iterative feedback and change.
  • Familiarity with current trends, research, and best practices in child learning, inclusive education, and family engagement is highly beneficial.
  • Prior experience in advisory, consulting, curriculum development, or program design roles is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and use common digital collaboration tools (e.g., video conferencing, shared documents).
