Assistant Retail Business Analyst
Porsche Retail Group
The Assistant Retail Business Analyst plays a key role in turning performance data into meaningful insight across our retail network. This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to begin a career in motor retail analytics, working with commercial, aftersales, and customer-focused data to support operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Support insight generation across sales, aftersales, and F&I performance
- Track core metrics including:
- Sales units
- Gross profit
- Stock levels
- Conversions
- Help produce dashboards, reports, and presentations for stakeholders
- Highlight emerging patterns, risks, and opportunities in business data
- Work with senior analysts and managers to understand performance drivers
- Assist with:
- Inventory reviews
- Ageing analysis
- Stock optimisation
- Support evaluation of:
- Enquiry flows
- Conversions
- Customer behaviour
- Contribute to:
- Budgeting
- Forecasting
- Target-tracking activities
- Maintain accuracy across systems, reports, and data flows
- Assist with:
- Troubleshooting
- Updates
- Testing
- Documentation
- Ad-hoc analysis

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree-level education, AAT credential, or equivalent
- High accuracy and strong focus on data quality
- Good Excel capability ([formulas, pivot tables]); exposure to Power BI useful (**coding experience beneficial)
Desirable Qualifications:
- Interest in data analysis and understanding commercial performance
- Willingness to pursue ACCA, CIMA, or ACA
- Interest in the automotive or wider retail sector
- A self-motivated approach and appetite to grow in a fast-paced environment

- Basic salary: £35,000
- Flexible working: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 until 17:30
