About the Role
You’ll join ServiceNow’s Risk & Security Solution Consulting team, playing a critical role in driving net new business. As a hands-on technical consultant, you’ll collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and executives to guide revenue for risk products across complex sales cycles, delivering deep expertise in solution delivery, positioning, and risk domain mastery.
What You’ll Get to Do
The Solution Consultant engages as a technical/solution sales expert to support pre-sales, achieve targets, and align offerings with customer needs. Key responsibilities include:
Core Sales & Consulting Duties
- Serve as a technical and domain expert, partnering with client-facing sales teams to:
- Lead customer discovery workshops and demonstrate value-meeting products in aligning with business challenges.
- Translate customer pain points into tailored SolutionNow capabilities.
- Engage with stakeholders (customers, channel partners, and internal teams) to:
- Answer product/technical questions and address compliance/security concerns.
- Deliver early-stage product demos, including API/integration insights.
- Represent risk domain expertise across:
- Risk Management
- Internal Controls
- Regulatory Compliance
- Policy Management
- Cyber Risk
- Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)
- Business Continuity Management (BCM)
- Operational Resilience
- Privacy
- ESG Compliance

Product & Voice Coordination
- Provide actionable feedback to Product Management to enhance solutions based on customer insights.
- Share learnings/processes with peers to strengthen consulting quality.
Strategic Sales Scoping
- Identify and pursue cross-product opportunities that address:
- Multi-tiered ServiceNow integrations (e.g., Risk + SIEM, TPRM, etc.).
- Emerging regulatory trends and market gaps.
Market & Thought Leadership
- Present at events, including:
- Executive briefings
- Industry conferences
- User groups
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- A.I. & Automation Mastery (6+ years):
- Experience leveraging AI to optimize workflows, inform decisions, or automate outcomes in your prior roles.
- Pre-sales Solution Consulting or Sales Engineering (~6–10 years):
- Specialized GRC & SecOps knowledge (e.g., frameworks, tools, and industry best practices).
- Technical Depth:
- ServiceNow Platform fluency or proficiency with SaaS platforms.
- Ability to:
- Discuss Security Operations Center(SoC) technology.
- Detail compliance frameworks (e.g., NAC/ISO predominantly, with GDPR/PIIIPP knowledge) and their technological implications.
- Demonstrate cross-platform integration insights with SIEM/GRC/TPRM tools.
- Exective Brilliance:
- Compelling presence to engage at the C-suite level without hand-holding.
- Proven negotiation and influence skills to navigate corporate dynamics and build trust.
- Autonomous Ownership:
- Self-motivated problem-solving with proven ownership of results and independence.

- Work effectively with:

- Advanced presentation and persuasive communication.
