About PKF Littlejohn Advisory
Our Advisory division is a specialist practice in restructuring, advisory, and insolvency. Based in London, Leeds, and Manchester, we serve a broad range of stakeholders across diverse industries. Our team includes:
- A dedicated investigation and forensic team focused on insolvency cases with suspected fraudulent conduct.
- An experienced financial services team, specialising in distressed regulated businesses (e.g., credit unions, EMIs, SIPP administrators).
- A core restructuring team, managing both trading and non-trading administrations, CVAs, and solvent/insolvent liquidations.
- Personal insolvency specialists.

The Role: Senior Administrator – Restructuring & Insolvency
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Administrator to join our growing Advisory team. This exciting opportunity offers career progression, mentorship, and the chance to work with complex financial challenges in high-impact cases.
Responsibilities
Key duties include:
- Case management: Overseeing restructuring and insolvency cases from initiation to closure, ensuring compliance with all statutory obligations.
- Financial analysis: Conducting evaluations and preparing in-depth reports on distressed companies’ financial health.
- Restructuring strategy: Developing and executing plans, including creditor negotiations and stakeholder engagements.
- Client advisory: Assisting with proposals and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Team leadership: Mentoring junior staff, fostering professional development, and ensuring cohesive team performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partnering with legal advisors, accountants, and other specialists to advance cases smoothly.
- Stakeholder meetings: Representing the firm in discussions with clients, creditors, and regulators concerning strategies and progress.
- Compliance & best practice: Staying current on insolvency legislation and industry standards.

Person Specification
Essential Experience & Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in restructuring, advisory, or insolvency cases.
- Preference for chartered/part-qualified professionals (ACA, ACCA, CPI, or journeying towards a qualification).
- Thorough knowledge of insolvency law, procedures, and statutory obligations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in IPS (Insolvency Practice Statement) systems and advanced diary management.
- Self-motivated, highly organised, and capable of independently driving projects.
Interpersonal & Professional Skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders.
- Adaptable to both individual accountability and teamwork in high-pressure environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel for financial modelling and Word for reporting.
Ground-upUK-specific insurance and forensic experience also highly desirable.
