At Frazer-Nash we help organisations deliver innovative engineering and technical solutions to make lives safe, secure, sustainable, and affordable. Our people are an integral part of our ability to do this.
With this in mind, we are currently seeking experienced Aerospace Assurance and Certification Consultants to undertake challenging and interesting work that helps improve the wider world.
Working within a consultancy environment offers the chance to experience a wide variety of projects and you'll be expected to bid for, win, work on, and manage projects, as well as work with and manage people and clients. We are particularly interested in motivated consultants who are keen to network with clients to secure new work and lead the delivery of projects supported by the wider team of engineers.
Our clients look for support in initial certification and type airworthiness, continuing airworthiness and technical delivery of projects. This would suit an engineer/consultant with previous experience working within Defence Equipment & Support, Project Teams, Delivery Teams or Front-Line delivery of platforms or equipment. The role represents an opportunity to join an expanding team and lead technical delivery on projects across the aerospace spectrum within defence. You will develop a portfolio of project deliveries, hone your consultancy skills and help develop more junior engineers and graduates. As part of Frazer-Nash you may also have opportunities to work outside aerospace or gain civil experience to widen your skillset further.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
