Job Description
DXC Technology is looking for an experienced Sales Professional to drive growth across Aerospace, Defence, and Security within the Consulting & Engineering Services business. This is a high-profile role with ownership of a $120m TCV target, focused primarily on winning new logo clients across Commercial Aerospace and the wider Defence and Security market.
You will take accountability for opening new accounts where DXC does not currently have a presence, building relationships from the ground up and converting early wins into long-term, strategic client partnerships. While public sector and defence relationships are important for access and ecosystem positioning, the core growth focus is on commercial aerospace organisations, defence primes, their supply chains, and security businesses.
This role combines hands-on new business delivery with responsibility for developing and guiding a team of sales professionals and Customer Success Managers. You will ensure strong pipeline creation across both major transformation pursuits and smaller entry deals that create a foundation for future growth. Success in this role comes from strong new logo sales capability, commercial discipline, and the ability to build trusted, long-term relationships in complex, regulated environments.
What you will be doing
- Define and drive the new logo growth strategy across Aerospace, Defence, and Security, identifying priority accounts and building clear entry plans that convert early engagement into revenue.
- Open and develop relationships with senior stakeholders across aerospace manufacturers, operators, defence organisations, and security clients, operating credibly at executive level and shaping demand from the outset.
- Lead complex pursuits end-to-end, from initial engagement through to deal closure, while also securing smaller entry deals that establish a foothold for long-term account development.
- Work closely with consulting, engineering, solutioning, bid, and delivery teams to build competitive, commercially robust solutions.
- Grow accounts across the full CES portfolio, including consulting, engineering, SAP, Data and AI, and enterprise technology platforms, expanding initial wins into multi-year client relationships.
- Support and develop a team of sales professionals and Customer Success Managers, setting clear direction, driving accountability, and contributing to a high-performing, collaborative sales culture.
- Collaborate across DXC and with key partners to align strategy, bring the right capabilities to market, and enable scalable, secure delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Your market focus
The role targets commercial Aerospace, Defence, and Security organisations across the UKI region, including aerospace manufacturers, airlines, MRO organisations, defence primes, and their supply chains, and security-focused businesses. Public sector and government defence relationships remain important for ecosystem access and influence, but the primary revenue focus is on new commercial clients.
What you will bring
- A strong track record of winning new logo business within IT services or consulting environments, with experience opening accounts and developing them into long-term, high-value clients.
- Experience within Aerospace, Defence, or Security is highly valuable, alongside a network that enables access to senior decision-makers.
- Delivered against significant TCV targets, typically across deals in the $3m to $20m range, and be comfortable leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in regulated environments.
- Confident selling across a broad portfolio, including consulting, engineering, SAP, Data and AI, and enterprise platforms, combining commercial focus with enough technical depth to be credible in client conversations.
- Eligible to obtain SC clearance, with potential to meet higher clearance requirements where needed.
What sets you up for success
- A new logo sales professional who is energized by opening accounts and building relationships from the ground up.
- Combines this with the ability to turn early wins into long-term partnerships.
- Brings strong commercial focus, resilience, and determination, with the ability to maintain momentum across long, complex sales cycles.
- Confident engaging at senior levels, able to communicate clear value, and adapt your approach to different client environments.
- Comfortable operating in evolving environments, building structure where needed, and aligning teams behind a shared commercial goal.
