A Day in the Life
Based in our London office, you will join Aesop’s DMI (Global Marketing) team, supporting International Project Managers across our core categories, such as Body Care, Hair Care, and Fragrance. This is a unique opportunity for a penultimate-year student to gain hands-on experience in developing and executing global marketing strategies for new products and core pillars.
You will be at the heart of the product and campaign development cycle. From conducting market research to assisting with campaign photoshoots and analysing post-launch performance, you will be a key contributor to bringing Aesop’s innovations to our global markets.
Day-to-day, You Will Be
- Conducting insightful analysis of sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and support strategic decisions.
- Supporting campaign development by assisting with creative briefs, presentation development, and the coordination of mock-ups with external agencies.
- Collaborating with 360° teams (including Product Innovation, Creative, Copy, and Production) to ensure all marketing assets are ready for a seamless go-to-market execution.
- Assisting in project management, helping to maintain marketing calendars, track project timelines, and prepare for key internal meetings.

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Need
- Industry Passion: A genuine enthusiasm and curiosity for the luxury beauty, skincare, and fragrance sectors. While professional business experience is absolutely not required, a natural passion for the industry and an interest in Aesop’s unique brand philosophy will help set you up for success.
- Market & Competitor Awareness: A basic awareness and curiosity about the beauty landscape, particularly around body care competitors. Being observant of trends and what other brands are doing in the market will help you contribute valuable perspectives.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in analysing sales data and market research to produce clear, actionable insights. Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint are essential.
- Project Coordination: Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and respect deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative Acumen: An interest in the creative process, from olfactive storytelling to visual campaign development, and the ability to contribute fresh ideas.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create clear briefs and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Autonomy & Initiative: A solution-oriented mindset with the ability to take ownership of tasks and proactively seek out answers and opportunities.

In your second year of a university course that requires a one-year industrial placement.
