Gower Skin Aesthetics is an HIW-regulated medical aesthetics clinic with practices in Gower, Swansea, and London, delivering safe, evidence-based aesthetic and skin treatments within a clinically led environment.
Our team is committed to providing exceptional patient care through personalised treatment plans, transparent consultations, and the highest standards of clinical practice. Patient safety, ethical practice, and natural results are at the heart of everything we do.
In addition to our clinical services, we are proud to deliver professional training through the Gower Skin Aesthetics Academy, supporting healthcare professionals to develop their skills through high-quality, evidence-based education.

Role Description
The Aesthetic Nurse will provide safe and effective non-surgical aesthetic treatments, including skin assessments, injectable therapies (within scope of practice and training), and other clinic-approved procedures.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Conducting consultations
- Reviewing medical histories
- Developing treatment plans
- Performing treatments
- Monitoring client outcomes
The role involves educating clients on treatment options, aftercare, skin health, and realistic expectations, while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to regulatory and clinic protocols.
The Aesthetic Nurse will collaborate with the clinical team to support treatment reviews, contribute to service improvements, and maintain a clean, well-organised treatment environment.
This is a flexible, on-site role based in Gower Swansea.
Qualifications
- Current registered nurse qualification (or equivalent) with active registration and eligibility to practice in the United Kingdom.
- Demonstrated clinical skills in patient assessment, safe treatment delivery, and management of potential complications in a medical or aesthetic setting.
- Experience or formal training in aesthetic procedures (e.g., injectable treatments, skin rejuvenation, medical-grade skincare) is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, explain treatments clearly, and provide client-centered care.
- Commitment to infection control, health and safety standards, and meticulous record-keeping in line with clinical and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small clinical team, manage appointment schedules, and maintain a professional, discreet approach.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development, including training in new aesthetic techniques, products, and best practices.
- Prior experience in dermatology, cosmetic surgery, or aesthetic medicine is an advantage but not mandatory.
