After- School Club Supervisor

Playworker (After School Club) – Ocklynge Junipor School

Location: Ocklynge Junipor School, BN20 Hours: 3pm–6pm, Monday–Friday (Term time only) Job Type: Part-time, Permanent

About the Role

As a dedicated Playworker, you play a critical role in delivering outstanding wrap-around care to children.

Your responsibilities will include creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that exceeds expectations while supporting children’s holistic development. This role focuses on fostering positive interactions, building relationships with families, and contributing to cross-marketing efforts to drive participation and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Wrap-Around Care Delivery

  • Design and lead diverse activities that encourage physical, mental, and social development.
  • Maintain child safety, closely supervise activities, and address individual needs.
  • Keep parents/guardians informed through effective communication and engagement.
  • Foster community and positive peer interactions.

Requirements

  • Experience: Preferred: 1+ years in childcare.
  • ID, DBS Check, and Safeguarding Training will be required.
