Aftercare Advisor – Pet Cremation Services

One of the UK’s leading providers of pet cremation services has a unique opportunity to join their team at Valley Pet and Equine Crematorium in Paignton. We’re looking for an empathetic, compassionate and enthusiastic individual to work as an Aftercare Advisor, supporting pet owners through one of the most difficult periods of their lives.

About the Role

We exist to do the right thing – especially when clients need us most. This is our number one priority. If you have the heart to make a real difference to people’s lives, and want to help others with dignity and care at such a sensitive time, we’d love to hear from you.

Our vision is to offer a service that we’d want for our own beloved pets, giving meticulous attention to every detail—whether it’s a paw print outlay or more bespoke arrangements. We treat our pets with dignity and respect, ensuring they're looked after right until their final moments.

Helping clients through bereavement and pet afterlife services can be emotionally demanding, but our team is motivated by the satisfaction of making a difference. We thrive on providing exceptional service and compassion and offering comfort when pet owners need it most.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
