GKR International are exclusively representing a boutique Developer in their search for an Aftercare Manager. Handing someone the keys to their new home is one of the best moments in property, and this role owns that moment — and everything that comes after it. The business epitomises "Boutique" in every way, operating behind a growing portfolio of new-build developments and managed buildings. Alongside its own sites, it works closely with investment partners on their portfolios too. Responsibilities
- Own the aftercare inbox and phone line
- Ensure nothing falls through the cracks
- Run pre-completion snagging and prepare units for handover, from HUGs to keys
- Meet residents on the big day — conduct:
- Home demos
- Keys handover
- Log, allocate, and chase defects until closed out, fast
- Build real relationships with:
- Residents
- Subcontractors
- Building managers
- Keep the portfolio buildings sharp through:
- Regular site visits
- Compliance checks
- Quick fixes

Requirements
- Solid grounding in:
- Construction
- Handover
- Property management
- A knack for:
- Staying calm under pressure
- Staying organised
- Being personable
- Sharp written and verbal communication — you make people feel looked after
- Working knowledge of:
- Building Safety Act
- EWS1
- NHBC Buildmark
- HNRS (preferred)
- Comfortable juggling multiple live developments at once
