Aftermarket Crane Sales Manager

Midlands and wider UK area Overhead Cranes | Maintenance Contracts | Crane Upgrades

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to develop aftermarket crane services across the Midlands and wider surrounding area.

This role is focused on selling service, maintenance, and upgrade solutions within the overhead crane sector.

The role involves working with existing and new customers to identify opportunities for:

  • Planned maintenance contracts
  • Repairs, refurbishments & modernisations
  • Equipment upgrades

It’s a strong opportunity for someone who understands the crane, lifting equipment, or industrial engineering sector and wants to build a long-term career in overhead crane sales.


The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing aftermarket sales across your territory
  • Building and managing customer relationships
  • Identifying opportunities for maintenance, service, and technical solutions
  • Combining account management, new business development, site visits, and technical collaboration with engineering teams

Key responsibilities include:

  • Selling planned maintenance contracts for overhead cranes and lifting equipment
  • Identifying and pursuing opportunities for crane upgrades, modernisations, and refurbishments
  • Developing new business in the Midlands and wider UK regions
  • Managing and growing existing customer accounts
  • Conducting site visits to assess needs and strengthen relationships
  • Preparing quotations and following through on sales opportunities
  • Collaborating with service, engineering, and operations teams
  • Building a pipeline of aftermarket crane service opportunities
  • Actively representing the business professionally across industrial sectors

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience selling crane services, lifting equipment services, maintenance contracts, or industrial engineering solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of overhead cranes, gantry cranes, hoists, or other lifting equipment
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to spot aftermarket opportunities
  • Comfortable engaging with engineering, maintenance, and operational teams
  • Proven skills in account management and new business development
  • Based within the Midlands or a reasonable travel radius
  • Full UK driving license
