Afternoon Receptionist Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome customers and visitors in a warm and professional manner. Answer incoming calls promptly, directing enquiries to the appropriate department or personnel. Manage appointment bookings and maintain accurate daily schedules. Handle general administrative duties including filing, data entry, and correspondence. Maintain a tidy and organised reception area reflecting the company’s standards. Assist with processing invoices and payments where necessary. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient office operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably within the automotive or driving industry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in British English. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable using telephone systems. Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
