Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of a school facility under our management. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, demonstrating consistency, professionalism, and a strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness. The position offers stable, term-time employment with flexible shift options and valuable benefits, including pension contributions and holiday entitlement.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitise assigned areas, including restrooms, classrooms, offices, and common spaces.
- Dust surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and equipment thoroughly and regularly.
- Vacuum and mop floors using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Empty trash and recycling bins, ensuring proper disposal and segregation.
- Restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other essential items as needed.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Adhere strictly to safety procedures, health regulations, and cleaning protocols.
- Maintain a professional, respectful, and courteous attitude at all times.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to thorough, high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative team mindset.
- Flexibility to work scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during term time.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices is advantageous.

- SHIFTS BETWEEN 3PM TILL 7PM
- 2HR SHIFTS 10HRS A WEEK
- Term time only (39 weeks per year)
- DBS check desirable (we will process one for you if required)
- Nest Pension scheme available
- 28 days paid holiday
- Pro-rata monthly pay £483.17 (AFTER PROBATION PERIOD)
