Aftersales Coach (Social Media: @TheAftersalesCoach #MSXI)

The Role

Focused on Audi UK Network dealerships, this high-performing role involves driving improvements across key Aftersales performance indicators based in the South of England.

Key Responsibilities

The Aftersales Excellence Coach will:

  • Deliver appreciable improvements in Aftersales KPIs by:
    • Root cause analysis of underperformance within customer experience and operational workflows.
    • Collaborating with Aftersales Managers & Teams to implement sustainable solutions in:
      • Customer Satisfaction
      • Customer Preparation and Technical Pre-Plans
      • EVHC (Electric Vehicle & Hybrid Care)
      • Workshop Productivity
      • Process Improvement & Quality Management
      • Team Working & Communication
    • Continuously monitor and enhance quality control processes, identifying strengths and opportunities via structured analysis.
  • Apply a coaching structure aligned with Agile KPI analysis tools to support diagnostic findings and delivery of agreed outcomes.
  • Maintain professional interaction with Audi UK Area Managers while building strong, collaborative relationships.
  • Track engagement metrics through:
    • Visit Reports
    • SMART Actions Plans
    • Destination checks for consistent and systematic improvement.
  • Ensure smooth implementation of administrative tasks:
    • MSXI Activity tracking (performance, expenses, mileage)
    • Market development via Field-based Audit data submission and leveraging IT support infrastructure.

About You

Requirements & Qualifications

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years+ in Automotive Aftersales Industry (preferably UK-based).
  • Strong understanding of business KPIs and data-driven analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Hands-on experience with Aftersales process implementation, intervention, and oversight.
  • Self-sufficiency with an adaptive mindset, capable of working independently with a balanced workload.
  • Clear and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Flexibility, prioritisation skills, and ability to perceive insights from factual drivers.!

Administrative Requirements

  • Proactively maintain accurate report documentation (visit methodologies updated post-recommendation feedback).
  • Travel arrangements must be underpinned with full transparent documentation of cloned/metric-driven output tracking, ensuring alignment with company expense policies.
  • Valid UK driving license required due to mandatory field visits, overnight away travel (Business expenses covered).

Working Pattern & Location

  • 40 hours per week (Mon–Fri)
  • Hybrid/Flexible model: With an expectation to travel 80%+ of time – enforcing:
    • Field-based focus with quarterly national team meetings as essential collaboration stages.
    • Self-managed workload wherein overnight travel is routinely required.

Base Salary & Rewards

  • £45,000 per year pro-rata
  • Company Car & Credit Card (smart device stipend included, Fuel Card via managers)
