£45,000 Basic Salary | £60,000 OTE

We are seeking an experienced and driven Aftersales Manager to lead a successful dealership's aftersales operation in Abingdon. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven automotive leader to take ownership of the Service and Parts departments, driving performance, profitability, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the aftersales function, developing their team, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service and operational efficiency are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the performance of the Service and Parts departments.
  • Drive profitability through effective departmental management and process improvement.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the aftersales team to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Monitor and improve customer satisfaction and retention levels.
  • Ensure workshop efficiency and productivity targets are achieved.
  • Manage budgets, departmental KPIs, and financial performance.
  • Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards and dealership procedures.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and manufacturer representatives.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue through service plans, maintenance packages, and aftersales products.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as an Aftersales Manager, Service Manager, or similar leadership role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of dealership aftersales operations.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Commercially minded with strong financial awareness.
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
  • Organised, proactive, and results-driven approach.
  • Full UK driving licence.
