Aged Care Support Worker

Date: 18 Jun 2026

Location: Bethania Gardens

Business Unit: St Jude's Aged Care

About Us

St Jude’s Health Care Group is a trusted provider of Aged Care, Allied Health and Disability Services, established in 1982. With a strong reputation built over four decades and as a purpose-driven organisation, we operate with a clear philosophy: we do not provide any service that isn’t good enough for our own families. Our work is grounded in respect, integrity, commitment, and genuine partnerships with the individuals and communities we support.

Role Summary

The role of our Support Workers is to provide support to the residents in our aged care facility or the clients in our mental health hostel. Support workers are tasked with creating a home-like environment for everyone at the facility, whilst undertaking duties such as assistance with daily living tasks or personal care needs, medication administration or the preparation and serving of meals. Our Support Workers work closely with our Registered Nurse, who will provide guidance and supervision to you throughout your day.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
