ABOUT THE ROLE
Make a meaningful difference every day as a Residential Care Partner at our welcoming 26-bed Balladong Gardens aged care home. In this permanent part-time role, you'll provide compassionate, person-centred care by supporting residents with personal care, daily living activities, mobility, meals, and meaningful social engagement. Every day is an opportunity to enhance our residents' wellbeing, independence, and quality of life in a supportive and close-knit community.
You will help create a warm, homely environment where residents feel safe, respected and supported. Working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will bring compassion, patience and professionalism to every shift.
This role is based at our welcoming Balladong Gardens community in York.
ROSTER AND HOURS
This position follows a consistent fortnightly rotating roster:
Week 1
- Monday: 9.45pm - 7.15am
- Tuesday: 9.45pm - 7.15am
Week 2
- Monday: 9.45pm - 7.15am
- Tuesday: 9.45pm - 7.15am
- Saturday: 7am - 3pm
- Sunday: 9am - 2pm
This roster offers a mix of night shifts and weekend day shifts, ideal for someone who values predictable hours and a steady rhythm.

ABOUT YOU
You bring a genuine commitment to supporting older people with dignity and respect. You enjoy working in a team and building meaningful relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
You will have:
- Holds or is currently working towards a Certificate III in Aged Care (or similar), or undertaking undergraduate Registered Nurse studies
- Demonstrates an understanding of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and reflects its values in the workplace
- Delivers care using a person-centred approach
- Works effectively and contributes positively within a team environment
- Communicates well and builds relationships with people from diverse backgrounds, including CALD communities
- Follows written and verbal instructions accurately
- Manages a busy workload and adapts to changing priorities
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to customer-focused care
- Has basic to intermediate IT skills across a range of applications
