Agency Director (Influencer)
London (Hybrid)
The role and company
We are partnering with an exciting, fast-growing agency that is looking to appoint an Agency Director to lead and scale its Influencer Marketing division.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of an established business by defining the agency's influencer offering, driving commercial growth and leading a high-performing team. Working closely with the founders and senior leadership, you'll play a pivotal role in setting the strategic direction of the division while building long-lasting client partnerships and delivering award-worthy influencer campaigns.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and grow the agency's Influencer Marketing division, defining its vision, proposition and long-term strategy
- Own the commercial performance of the division, driving revenue growth, profitability and new business opportunities
- Build trusted relationships with senior clients, acting as a strategic advisor and executive-level partner
- Lead integrated influencer campaigns from strategy through to execution, ensuring exceptional delivery across every stage
- Develop and refine agency processes, frameworks and best practice to support scalable growth
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client partnerships through upselling, cross-selling and strategic planning
- Lead new business pitches, proposals and presentations, helping secure major client wins
- Work closely with creative, strategy, production and social teams to deliver integrated campaigns
- Oversee forecasting, resource planning, financial performance and overall operational excellence
- Recruit, mentor and develop a high-performing influencer team, creating a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement
- Represent the agency externally, building relationships across the creator economy and raising the agency's profile within the industry

Requirements
- Significant experience in a senior leadership role within an influencer marketing, social media or integrated creative agency
- Proven experience leading and growing influencer marketing teams and client portfolios
- Strong commercial mindset with experience managing revenue, forecasting, budgets and profitability
- Demonstrated success winning new business and growing existing client accounts
- Extensive experience delivering large-scale influencer campaigns for leading consumer brands
- Exceptional client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Strong understanding of the creator economy, social platforms and emerging industry trends
- An inspiring people leader with experience coaching, developing and growing high-performing teams
