Sous la supervision de la coordonnatrice de la facturation, le·a titulaire de ce poste aura pour mission principale de s’assurer que toutes les sommes dues à Pomerleau sont perçues pour chaque projet de construction.
Responsibilities
Processing Payments
- Prepare billing templates in conjunction with project managers
- Review project contracts to identify:
- Payment terms and conditions
- Client and supplier addresses
- Required documents for payment verification
Accounting Tasks
- Ensure billing budgets comply with client contracts
- Issue monthly invoices for each project, as well as additional partial bills
- Update billing records in the IT system
- Log invoices and record all receipts
- Report pending and non-billed change orders to project managers
Timely Compliance & Client Relations
- Guarantee clients adhere to payment schedules based on invoiced amounts
- Monitor billing deadlines and provide receipts as required
- Ensure required documents for project completion are received on time (e.g., retainages and final payments)
- Obtain confirmation dates of temporary and final acceptances
- Conduct follow-ups for projects at 80% completion
- Complete and update client files in the CMiC system

Intercompany Task Management
- Adjust and reconcile billing between collaborating companies
- Confirm that petty expenses or adjustments are properly allocated
Qualifications
This role is ideal if you have the following experience and skills:
- Completion of a AEC (Certificate of Vocational Studies) or DEC (Diploma of Vocational Secondary Studies) in accounting
- 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting
- Background in customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong attention to detail and strict adherence to deadlines
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Commitment to providing top-notch customer service
- Good adaptability and communication
- Reliability in meeting deadlines
