Are you passionate about the future of AI, automation and intelligent technology? We’re looking for an Agentic & Automation Solutions Manager to help shape and deliver our automation and agentic AI roadmap across Premier Foods. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with the Head of Insight & Automation to define strategy, prioritise value-led opportunities and deliver high-quality solutions across the PF Group.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of automation and agentic initiatives — from ideation and scoping through to build, deployment and support — while developing team capability, strengthening governance and ensuring strong stakeholder alignment.
As Agentic & Automation Solutions Manager, you’ll take a lead role in reviewing opportunities, designing solutions and advising on the best approach to deliver business requirements across the Agentic and Automation space. You’ll partner closely with colleagues across IT and wider business functions including Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Finance and HR, as well as engaging confidently with the Senior Leadership Team.
You’ll support the development of a multi-year Agentic and Automation strategy and roadmap, incorporating strategic tools such as UI Path, SAP and Microsoft Copilot, ensuring the roadmap is aligned to business priorities and measurable value outcomes.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting the Head of Insight & Automation in defining and delivering a multi-year Agentic and Automation strategy and roadmap.
- Maintaining a strong pipeline of use cases across business functions, considering value, feasibility, risk and complexity.
- Leading solution design for automation and Agentic AI, including high-level and low-level design documentation.
- Ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, supportable and aligned to AI governance policies.
- Leading and developing the Agentic AI and Automation team, building capability in modern automation and agentic technologies.
- Creating a culture of engineering discipline, reuse, continuous improvement, code review and knowledge sharing.
- Supporting responsible AI delivery through privacy, security, model risk, bias awareness, data handling and documentation.
- Managing relationships with third-party partners, ensuring quality delivery, adherence to timelines and alignment to Premier development standards.
- Managing elements of capital spend, forecasting and spend tracking, including total cost of ownership considerations.
- Communicating roadmap progress, risks and value delivery clearly and confidently to stakeholders at all levels.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
