Agile Coach - Part-Time Contract (3 Days/Week)

Day Rate: £450 - £550 per day

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Contract Length: 6 Initial engagement, scope for extension

Location: Hybrid, London

Start: ASAP

A large, multi-site consumer business is seeking an Agile Coach to work across its wider delivery organisation, three days a week, for the length of the engagement.

This is an education-led Agile Coach role. Rather than sitting embedded with one team, you'll work across multiple teams, coaching Scrum Masters, Product Owners and team members on agile principles and practice, and building capability that outlasts your time on the contract.

As Agile Coach, you'll design and run training sessions and workshops that lift agile understanding across the business, then reinforce that learning by getting hands-on with ceremonies, stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives, wherever teams need the most support. You'll identify blockers in team process and work with stakeholders to clear them, track team health and delivery metrics, and use that data to drive practical improvement rather than vanity reporting.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Part of the Agile Coach brief here is judgement: knowing which teams need more Scrum discipline, where Kanban fits better, and where a hybrid approach works best, then tailoring your coaching and training accordingly. You'll work closely with Product and Engineering leads to keep delivery practice aligned with wider business goals. Before the contract ends, you'll leave behind a clear, sustainable approach to agile ways of working that teams across the business can carry forward without you.

What we're looking for in an Agile Coach for this engagement:

  • 3+ years' experience in an Agile Coach, Scrum Master or similar delivery role
  • Solid working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban and Lean, built through practice rather than theory
  • A recognised agile certification such as CSM, PSM, ICP-ACC or equivalent
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills, comfortable challenging teams constructively
  • Experience coaching individuals as well as teams
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence or similar tools
  • Available to commit to three days a week for the full contract duration
