Agile Delivery Lead

- Location: Watford (3 days per week on-site)

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of digital initiatives across web, mobile, and integrated back-end platforms.
- Drive multiple agile delivery streams, ensuring projects move successfully from concept through to live operation.
- Adapt your leadership style to suit the needs of the team, acting as an Agile Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Project Manager where required.
- Champion agile ways of working, empowering teams to deliver value quickly and effectively.
- Facilitate ceremonies, planning sessions, and stakeholder workshops that keep delivery focused and aligned.
- Use delivery metrics and team performance data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support teams in breaking work into manageable increments, improving predictability and delivery flow.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external delivery partners to ensure successful outcomes.
- Proactively manage risks, resolve blockers, and encourage collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
- Help shape and improve delivery standards, tools, and methodologies across the wider technology function.

Main Skills Needed
- Proven experience delivering complex digital or technology programmes using Agile, Lean, and modern software delivery practices.
- Strong background leading cross-functional teams through the full product delivery lifecycle.
- Excellent knowledge of Agile frameworks, Scrum principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working with multiple third-party delivery partners and managing successful project outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Confident using delivery data and metrics to improve team performance and forecasting.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical challenges into clear business language.
- Calm, organised, and resilient, with the ability to prioritise effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Passion for coaching teams, creating psychologically safe environments, and building a culture of ownership.
