At the heart of everything we do is our vision to change lives every day, and our mission to grow The National Lottery responsibly and champion its impact.

We are Allwyn UK, part of the Allwyn Entertainment Group – a multi-national lottery operator with a market-leading presence across the USA (Michigan and Illinois) and Europe, including Czech Republic, Austria, Greece, Cyprus and Italy.

While the main contribution of The National Lottery to society is through the funds to good causes, at Allwyn we put our purpose and values at the heart of everything we do. Join us as we embark on a once-in-a-lifetime, largescale transformation journey by creating a National Lottery that delivers more money to good causes.

We’ll talk a bit more about us further down the page, but for now – let’s talk about the role and who we’re looking for…

A bit about the role

Hands on delivery leadership of digital initiatives across strategic, functional and feature changes across our Web and App platforms, including interfaces with back-end systems.

As an Agile Delivery Lead you will work across one or more of our digital roadmap value streams. You will lead the delivery team, delivering using the right digital frameworks and ways of working.

You will own hands-on delivery for each Initiative assigned to the Squad, taking responsibility for end-to-end delivery from idea through to operate and success metrics.

You will be able to operate as a Servant Leader, Agile Coach, Scrum Master or Project Manager depending on the needs of the team and the specific Delivery challenge at the point in time.

You will contribute to the improvement of Delivery methodology within the Digital Foundry and key development partners, taking an active interest in developing Delivery tools and standards.

What you’ll be doing

HOW YOU WILL DO IT; Mindset

  • You are “Delivery obsessed" constantly looking for new ways to innovate and deliver maximum value.
  • Nurture and inspire the team to take responsibility for their delivery process and the outcomes they deliver.
  • You thread agile values and principles throughout your thinking, processes, and actions.
  • You empower and encourage the team to focus on delivering value.
  • Foster an open and honest team culture that welcomes constructive feedback, experimentation and is rooted in psychological safety.

HOW YOU WILL DO IT: Continuous Improvement

  • You will use delivery data to understand how the team are performing, identify improvements in ways of working, eliminate waste and reduce cycle time.
  • You’ll use delivery data to create delivery specific feedback loops across initiatives to drive more consistent and predictable delivery.
  • You’ll use a safe team culture to build effective feedback loops across both team deliverables as well as owning the delivery outcomes
  • You’ll encourage experimentation and create an environment where innovation can happen.
  • You’ll hold the team to account on their retro commitments.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
