Agile Delivery Manager
Lead Agile Delivery Manager
Location: Leeds (Hybrid UK-Based Role)
Salary: £69,000 - £77,500 per annum
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Organisation
Our client is a rapidly growing digital consultancy partnering with public and private sector organisations to deliver transformative digital solutions. With expertise in strategy, design, data, product development, and engineering, they help organisations tackle complex challenges and create lasting value through user-centred digital services.
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Lead Agile Delivery Manager to:
- Lead successful delivery of large-scale digital programmes
- Foster delivery excellence
- Develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams
This role offers key leadership responsibilities, including:
- Influencing delivery strategy across multiple workstreams
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients
- Mentoring delivery professionals
Responsibilities
Programme & Delivery Leadership
- Lead the investigation of complex delivery challenges and define programme-level delivery strategies
- Facilitate workshops and planning sessions with senior stakeholders to establish roadmaps, milestones, and success measures
- Oversee delivery across multiple projects and teams, ensuring consistency of methodology and achieving strategic objectives
- Manage, coach, and mentor Delivery Managers, supporting their professional growth and career development
- Collaborate with account and client leadership teams for effective resource planning and alignment with wider account strategies
- Drive continuous improvement across delivery practices, contributing to the evolution of delivery standards
- Promote high-performance team cultures built on accountability, collaboration, and transparency

Stakeholder & Knowledge Leadership
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on delivery maturity, agile practices, and organisational effectiveness
- Share industry knowledge, best practices, and innovative delivery approaches through internal communities and external industry engagement
Requirements
Essential Experience
- Extensive experience leading delivery across complex programmes and portfolios
- Strong track record of translating strategic objectives into actionable delivery plans
- Proven experience establishing and governing agile delivery standards across multiple teams
- Experience coaching delivery professionals in:
- Dependency management
- Risk mitigation
- Stakeholder engagement
- Programme governance
- Expertise in delivery metrics, forecasting, reporting, and visualisation techniques to assess programme health and performance
- Strong stakeholder management, ability to influence senior leaders and clients
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions across multiple products and services while maintaining strategic alignment
Desirable Experience
- Ability to adapt delivery strategies quickly due to changing business priorities, budgets, or technical environments
- Experience in implementing or scaling agile frameworks and modern delivery methodologies
- Knowledge of DevOps culture, continuous improvement practices, and large-scale agile environments
- Demonstrated success in building delivery communities and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability

Working Arrangements
- Hybrid working model
- Candidates should be located within commuting distance of a UK office
- Travel to client sites is required:
- Typically up to two days per week (depending on project needs)
