Agile Delivery Manager

Salary
- Consultant: up to £55,000 per annum
- Senior Consultant: up to £70,000 per annum
Clearance & Eligibility
- Candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance,
- Have 5+ years of UK residency,
- Hold the correct right to work status in the UK.
About the Role
As a Consultant specialising in Agile Delivery and Coaching, you will drive transformational programmes, nurture collaboration, and champion agile practices. This role blends responsibilities from Delivery Manager, Scrum Master, and Agile Coach into a strategic, impactful position.
Key Responsibilities
1. Agile Product Delivery
- Lead and manage product delivery using agile frameworks and techniques, prioritising individuals and interactions over processes and tools.
- Assess Agile Maturity of teams and organisations, guiding them towards higher maturity while upholding Scrum values: commitment, focus, openness, respect, and courage.

2. Team Leadership & Empowerment
- Provide leadership and empowerment to cross-functional teams, fostering a Scrum-centric cultural mindset.
- Matrix-manage multidisciplinary teams, cultivating transparency, inspection, and adaptation—core pillars of Scrum performance.
3. Scrum Master Duties
- Guide teams in Agile/Scrum practices, embedding and reinforcing Scrum values in ceremonies and daily interactions.
- Identify and mitigate blockers/impediments for Scrum teams and stakeholders, emphasising respect and courage.
4. Agile Coaching
- Design and facilitate Agile workshops for technical and functional teams, driving continuous improvement centred on Scrum values.
- Coach senior leadership in Agile adoption, ensuring top-down best-practice alignment and strengthening transparency as a Scrum pillar.
5. Delivery Management
- Oversee scope, timelines, and outcomes of client engagements from inception to closure, ensuring adherence to Agile values.
- Coordinate resources, facilitate delivery briefings, and ensure milestone-driven progress, focusing on commitment and customer collaboration.

Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, Scrum Master, or Agile Coach in Agile environments.
- Experience in public sector, corporate, or startup teams applying Agile principles.
- Demonstrated success delivering multi-disciplinary products and working with cross-functional agile teams.
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional communication and collaborative skills, with expertise in connecting across diverse teams and seniority levels.
- Familiarity with Agile tools, including Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and Miro.
- Competence in coaching teams, knowingly balancing direct guidance with self-management authority.
Note: Open to candidates with experience in sectors ranging from public organisations to agile startups.
