Are you driven by accuracy, process excellence and making a real impact across a business?

Do you thrive on problem-solving, data insights, and keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes?

If so... this is your opportunity to take ownership of a critical function at the heart of our Machinery division.

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Machinery Warranty Controller to join our dynamic team at our Head Office in Rosehill, Carlisle. At Carr's Billington Agriculture, our customers and colleagues rely on us to keep farms and machinery operating at their best. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring warranty processes run seamlessly; recovering vital income, supporting our depots, and driving continuous improvement across the Group.

This is more than administration.

This is influence, insight, and impact.

THE JOB

As our Machinery Warranty Controller, you'll become the central expert for warranty administration across all depots and major manufacturers. You will:

  • Own and manage the entire warranty process, end-to-end, across the organisation.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all warranty matters.
  • Submit accurate claims within manufacturer frameworks and timescales.
  • Monitor claim status, rejections, resubmissions, and progress to resolution.
  • Review gains, losses and financial risk, protecting business performance.
  • Maximise warranty income and recovery through consistent, high-quality administration.
  • Serve as a key link to Service Teams, building strong collaborative relationships.
  • Track performance, WIP and outstanding values, providing essential monthly insights.
  • Produce clear financial reporting to support leadership decisions.
  • Support credit note processing and reconciliation.
  • Standardise warranty procedures across the Group.
  • Identify trends, recurring failures, and improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency.
  • Help reduce administrative pressures on Service Managers, enabling them to focus on operational delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
