Sales Coordinator - Forfar
We are looking for a Sales Coordinator to join our dedicated team in Forfar. If you have a background in Agriculture, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful business and develop your career in the industry.

- Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

Scot Agri, established in June 2021, is formed through the merger of Kelso & Lothian Harvesters and A M Phillip Agritech. Our mission is to serve the agricultural community with:

Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Engagement
- Answer sales calls and proactively prospect for potential customers to create demand
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and manufacturer sales reps
- Take ownership of customer enquiries from beginning to finish
- Respond to inbound enquiries from:
- Scot Agri website
- Digital campaigns
- Marketing activity
- Make outbound calls to progress opportunities and follow up on open enquiries
- Identify opportunities for equipment demonstrations or dealer visits
- Book appointments and qualify leads for the sales team
- Ensure consistent follow-up to prevent missed sales
- Professionally represent the dealership and elevate brand awareness
- Issue customer account statements
- Support sales team with machine build-ups for non-JCB products (e.g., Horsch, Massey Ferguson, KRM)

CRM Management
- Accurately record activities, notes, and next steps in the dealer CRM system
- Maintain used equipment website
- Generate and chase used machine reports
- Ensure overspill (O/S) reports are submitted by the sales team
Operations & Coordination
- Organise machinery transport movements and update the IFS (ERP) system
- Process export paperwork, including CMR and sanitation documentation
- Liaise with parts & service departments regarding machines ready for dispatch
- Coordinate with sales administration on machine movements
- Assist the sales team with:
- Building machine specifications
- Researching attachments
- Plan and organise events (e.g., agricultural shows)

Yard & Equipment Responsibilities
- Move and handle machines in the yard
- Conduct customer familiarisation training sessions
- Learn valuation of part exchanges
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience within the agricultural industry or direct agricultural background
- Experience (or interest) in a sales environment
- Strong ability to prioritise tasks and thrive in a busy team setting
- Good customer rapport-building and teamwork skills
- Understanding of excellent customer service’s importance
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- High attention to detail
- Self-motivated and proactive approach
- Flexible, positive, and outgoing personality
