With Sedgwick, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing Agricultural and Livestock insurance claims—from initial reporting to final settlement. As a Claims Technician in our Agriculture and Rural Network (ARN), you’ll:
- Take full ownership of claims, making assertive decisions to achieve fair, customer-centric outcomes.
- Use cutting-edge digital assessment tools, including video technology, to evaluate properties remotely and collaborate efficiently with suppliers.
- Serve as the single point of contact for customers, ensuring smooth communication and professionalism throughout the process.
This role delivers technical expertise while maintaining an unwavering focus on top-tier customer experience, publishing insurance companies, and managing claims-related financials cost-effectively.
What You’ll Need
To thrive in this position, we’re looking for:
- A strong communicator (both in written and verbal formats) with the ability to explain complex details clearly.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and enthusiasm for industry-leading technology.
- French fluency (desirable but not essential).
- A self-motivated, organised professional who thrives in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities
Your core responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
- Single point of contact for customers, ensuring seamless communication throughout the claims process.
- Efficient claim management, including assessing losses, gathering policies, reviewing claims details, and pre-authorising payment schedules.
- Cost/cash-flow control—monitoring spending and delivering cost-effective outcomes in alignment with Sedgwick standards.
- Consistently delivering high technical standards while maintaining an exceptional customer service mindset.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
Essential
✔ Previous experience in a claims environment—perferably related to property insurance claims (property, natural disasters, or livestock).
✔ Strong communication skills—ability to liaise with policyholders, insurers, contractors, and other stakeholders, negotiating fair settlements with all parties.
Desirable (Advantage)
🔹 ACILA (Certified Chartered Loss Adjuster) qualification – helping you progress in your career.
