We’re recruiting…Agriculture Technical Coordinator

Location

Nearest Muller Milk & Ingredients site / Hybrid - 3 days per week on site.

Contract

Full-Time, 12 month Fixed term contract

Hours

Monday–Friday (40 hours)

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain the quality of raw milk supply by working with the Milk Supply Technical Manager and Farm Supply Technical Manager. You will liaise with Site Technical Teams as required.
  • Deliver the technical Compliance and Food Safety of bulk raw milk transport by ensuring compliance to related Muller procedures. Manage milk quality/sampling issues as they occur.
  • Provide OOH and weekend cover as required on a rota system.
  • Drive contract compliance to promote farm supply relationships, maintain quality milk supply as per business requirements developing farm supply continuous improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements and drive compliance to Red Tractor Farm Assurance.
  • Support Inbound Logistics initiatives and cost saving targets as required in the Agriculture Team.
  • Attend regional farmer meetings and farm events/workshops &, Represent Muller at nominated agricultural shows and events as required.

What You’ll Bring

  • Technical college degree or Qualified by Experience.
  • Excellent knowledge and ability with MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Able to create reports and manipulate basic data.
  • Quality Assurance experience.
  • Excellent demonstratable communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent track records of positive relationship building.
  • Knowledge of the dairy industry and associated politics/policies.
  • Minimum of 1 year working in an agriculture/food manufacturer; first hand experience of practical dairy farming would be beneficial.
  • Flexible-able to provide Out of Hours cover.
  • Ability to interpret farm quality data and present clear recommendations.
  • Professional in approach and appearance.
