At Sabio Group

We're building the next generation of AI-powered customer experience for some of the world's most demanding enterprise brands. We deliver significant volumes of agentic AI, LLM and conversational solutions into regulated industries, which means the legal and contractual underpinnings of how we sell, deliver and partner on AI are both a competitive advantage and a customer expectation.

About the Role

We’re looking for a commercially minded lawyer to join our legal team, working closely with our Information Security and AI Compliance & Governance functions. This is a hands-on role for someone who is genuinely curious about AI and enjoys translating complex regulation into practical advice.

You’ll own the legal dimension of how global AI regulation and data protection flow through Sabio’s commercial relationships – customer contracts, partner agreements and supplier terms. You’ll be a key legal voice on EU AI Act readiness, ISO 42001 alignment, and the broader regulatory landscape shaping our AI delivery, with active support from the wider Sabio legal team.

Key Responsibilities

Customer & Partner Contracts

  • Draft, review and negotiate AI-specific terms in customer contracts and partner, reseller and channel agreements.
  • Contribute to and maintain Sabio’s AI contracting playbook, including standard clauses, fallback positions and negotiation guidance.
  • Support French and/or Spanish commercial contracting during high-volume periods.

AI Regulatory & Compliance

  • Serve as day-to-day legal point of contact on EU AI Act obligations, including risk classification, transparency, and provider/deployer responsibilities.
  • Partner with the AI Compliance & Governance Specialist on:
    • Our ISO 42001 roadmap and ongoing compliance;
    • Aligning contractual commitments with operational reality; and
    • Translating emerging AI regulation across our operating jurisdictions (UK, EU, Spain, France) into actionable legal guidance.

IP, Data & Risk

  • Advise on intellectual property in AI contexts – training data, model ownership, licensing, and generated outputs.
  • Support data protection impact assessments and AI risk assessments.
  • Advise on international data transfers and ongoing data protection obligations.
  • Handle Data Subject Request responses by implementing Sabio’s standard procedures.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
