The Role
As an AI Architect, you will support enterprise AI strategy by working closely with project teams and client stakeholders to drive adoption of AI across development, modernisation, operations, and testing. You will define architectural standards, guide implementation, and ensure that AI solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise governance and delivery objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the adoption of AI tools across the software development lifecycle, including platforms such as GitHub Copilot and other AI engineering tools.
- Enabling development teams to apply AI for code generation, reviews, documentation, and secure coding practices.
- Supporting modernisation and technical debt reduction initiatives, including platform upgrades and framework migrations.
- Driving AI‑enabled insights for code analysis, modernisation assessments, and engineering productivity improvements.
- Collaborating with operations teams to implement AIOps capabilities, including intelligent monitoring, predictive incident management, and automation.
- Supporting the integration of AI into testing and quality assurance processes, including test generation, optimisation, and defect detection.
- Preparing AI solution designs, reference architectures, and technical documentation aligned to enterprise standards.
- Coordinating with offshore teams and ensuring alignment with onsite architecture leadership.
- Conducting training sessions and workshops to build AI capability and maturity across engineering teams.
- Ensuring adherence to responsible AI principles, security, compliance, and data governance standards.

Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Strong experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, software engineering, or solution architecture.
- Hands‑on experience with AI engineering tools, large language models, and cloud‑based AI platforms.
- Experience supporting development, modernisation, or testing teams within delivery environments.
- Good understanding of cloud platforms, modern application architectures, and DevOps practices.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with architects and cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to mentor teams and drive adoption of AI‑enabled engineering practices.
- Experience with AIOps, automation frameworks, or intelligent operations platforms.
- Exposure to enterprise AI governance, compliance, and responsible AI frameworks.
- Experience working in large‑scale enterprise transformation programmes.
