AI & Automation Apprenticeships Tutor / AI Training Specialist

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a qualified tutor for this exciting role in an Ofsted-rated "Good" national training provider, renowned for high-quality apprenticeship delivery, strong learner outcomes, and a supportive culture.

This critical position involves shaping and delivering AI & Automation apprenticeship programmes, including the Level 4 AI & Automation Practitioner, to help learners and employers effectively integrate AI into real-world workplace contexts.


The Role

As an AI & Automation Apprenticeships Tutor / AI Training Specialist, you’ll:

  • Design, deliver, and assess apprenticeship programmes, guiding learners from onboarding to their End Point Assessment (EPA).
  • Coach learners in AI technologies, automation tools, and data-driven decision-making, while collaborating with employers to embed AI into business practices.

Programme Focus

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging AI and digital apprenticeship training (virtual, group, and 1:1 sessions) including on-site client delivery where needed
  • Coach and mentor learners to ensure progression and completion
  • Conduct learner and employer reviews, preparing for End Point Assessment (EPA)
  • Support portfolio development and evidence gathering
  • Integrate Microsoft 365 and Copilot into training delivery
  • Design and refine curriculum content and learning resources
  • Assess employers’ AI adoption strategies, identify skills gaps, and provide tailored guidance
  • Ensure compliance with ESFA funding and Ofsted standards

About You

Essential:

  • Experience or strong knowledge of AI, automation, and digital technologies
  • Apprenticeship delivery, coaching, or assessment experience
  • Strong Microsoft 365 proficiency (familiarity with Copilot is a strong asset)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to manage remote learners and caseloads effectively
  • Level 2 English & Maths qualification
  • Valid UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • Teaching or assessment qualification (e.g., AET, CAVA, TAQA)
  • Experience with Level 3 or Level 4 digital/AI apprenticeships
  • Knowledge of Power Platform, Copilot Studio, or automation tools
  • Familiarity with apprenticeship standards, funding rules, and ESFA requirements
