Help shape the future of tax technology through AI and automation

Play a key role in a growing AI and automation function. Work directly with senior stakeholders across a national Tax business. Drive technology adoption and process improvement at scale.

This role combines stakeholder engagement, technology delivery and process improvement. You'll help identify opportunities for automation and support the implementation of innovative solutions. The opportunity offers excellent exposure across the business and clear progression prospects. You'll play an important role in helping teams work smarter through technology.

What you'll be doing

  • You'll work closely with stakeholders across the Tax business to understand challenges, gather requirements and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
  • You'll collaborate with developers and technology specialists to deliver practical solutions that improve workflows and support better outcomes.
  • You'll also help drive adoption through engagement, training and change management activities, ensuring solutions provide measurable value to users.

What experience you'll need to apply

  • Experience working within Tax Technology, Tax Transformation or Tax Innovation environments or similar
  • Exposure to AI, automation or digital transformation initiatives within a business environment, ideally applicable to finance
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio
  • Experience delivering change, transformation or technology-enabled improvement projects
  • Experience identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation or technology adoption
  • Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into practical solutions
  • Experience working closely with stakeholders across multiple teams and levels of seniority
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience within a large professional services, financial services or corporate environment would be a bonus
  • This role is best suited to candidates who have been applying AI within a commercial business environment rather than solely through freelance, consultancy or personal projects

What you'll get in return for your experience

  • A salary of up to £60,000 plus discretionary bonus, alongside hybrid working, flexible benefits, ongoing professional development and the opportunity to have a visible impact within a growing technology function.

Location & Working Pattern

  • This role can be based from either Birmingham, London or Manchester, with a hybrid working model of three days per week in the office.
