About Bolt
Bolt is shaping a future where cities are built for people, not cars. What started as an ambitious project of a 19-year-old in 2013 has grown into a global mobility platform used by more than 200 million customers and 4.5 million driver and courier partners across 50 countries.
From ride-hailing and food delivery to scooters, e-bikes, and car-sharing, Bolt helps people move through cities every day. Small, autonomous teams drive this work, combining the speed and ownership of a startup with the scale of a global technology company backed by more than €1bn in funding.
And we’re just getting started.
Why join Bolt?
- Build the future of mobility and help transform how people live and move in cities.
- Tackle challenges at scale that span technology, operations, regulation, and growth.
- Take real ownership early. Small, lean teams mean your decisions matter from day one, and you’ll learn fast alongside some of the best people in the industry.
- Join one of Europe’s leading technology companies, backed by world-class investors including Sequoia.
About The Role
Bolt for Business is building its first AI Hub — a new function inside the commercial organisation, focused entirely on shipping AI and automation systems that make our Sales and Account Management teams faster and more effective across 50+ markets.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role. No people management, no inherited roadmap. You’ll scope problems, build solutions, and own them through to measurable results. You’ll be one of the first people into this function, which means genuine influence over how it takes shape: the tools, the standards, and the way AI gets embedded across the commercial operation.
You’ll report to the AI and Automation Lead and work directly with Sales and Account Management to turn real operational problems into working systems.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities
- Build and ship agentic AI systems that sit inside real commercial workflows — covering LLM API integrations, orchestration logic, prompt design, output validation, and fallback handling, applied to lead qualification, content generation, and account prioritisation.
- Create and maintain workflow automations using n8n and Boltable (our internal app-building tool), alongside Zapier or Make where needed — writing JavaScript for logic and data transformation, and connecting systems across Salesforce and other internal and external platforms.
- Work with commercial and CRM datasets using SQL and Databricks to support scoring, prioritisation, and automation, keeping data clean and consistent across Salesforce and connected platforms.
- Own the commercial impact of everything you build: set KPIs upfront, track what moves, measure ROI, and iterate based on real data.
- Build for production from day one — logging, error handling, monitoring, and sensible architecture patterns are part of the brief, not an afterthought.
- Work closely with Sales, Account Management, and other commercial stakeholders to scope problems properly before building anything.
About You
- You’ve built and shipped workflow automations using n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar tools in production — demos don’t count here.
- You write solid JavaScript for workflow logic and data transformation; REST APIs, webhooks, and multi-system integrations are familiar territory.
- You’ve integrated LLM APIs like Claude or GPT into real workflows and understand prompt engineering, output validation, and how agent architecture actually works.
- You have strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with Databricks or something comparable, and know Salesforce or an equivalent CRM well enough to build on top of it.
- You can take a messy commercial problem, scope a clean technical solution, and see it through to results without needing someone to hold the plan together.
- A background in Computer Science or Engineering is a plus, as is experience with Python, GitHub, Clay, and AI agent frameworks — though we care more about what you’ve built than where you studied.
