AI Automation Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AI Automation Specialist based in United Kingdom.

This is a dynamic opportunity for an automation-minded professional to shape how teams work by building intelligent, AI-powered workflows across a fast-growing international organization. In this role, you will design and deploy automation solutions that eliminate repetitive tasks, streamline operations, and improve decision-making across multiple business functions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate real operational challenges into scalable AI-driven systems. The environment is highly experimental, encouraging you to prototype new ideas, test emerging AI tools, and continuously improve existing workflows. You will work across integrations, APIs, and automation platforms to connect systems and enhance efficiency at scale. This position is ideal for someone passionate about AI, process optimization, and building practical solutions that deliver immediate business impact in a collaborative, remote-first setting.

Accountabilities

  • Design and build AI-powered workflows and automations that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency across teams.
  • Develop intelligent AI agents to support tasks such as information routing, decision support, and process optimization.
  • Prototype AI solutions using automation tools and lightweight scripting to translate business needs into functional systems.
  • Build and maintain integrations between business systems using platforms such as n8n, Zapier, Make, Monday.com, and Slack.
  • Connect tools and services via APIs and webhooks, applying JavaScript or Python where necessary to extend functionality.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously optimize automations to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and drive process improvements.
  • Create clear documentation and support adoption of AI-driven workflows across the organization.
  • Explore and evaluate new AI technologies, running proof-of-concepts and recommending improvements to existing systems.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience building automations using tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
  • Strong interest in AI technologies, workflow automation, and business process optimization.
  • Understanding of APIs, webhooks, system integrations, and how different tools connect in modern tech ecosystems.
  • Basic programming or scripting experience in JavaScript and/or Python.
  • Experience using AI tools to prototype ideas, generate solutions, or improve workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to execution.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience with documentation and process clarity.
  • Awareness of data privacy, security, and responsible AI usage principles.
  • Experience with AI agents, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, or automation in tools like Jira or Intercom is a plus.
