We're looking for an AI & Cloud Developer to join our Financial IT Rapid Development team, where you'll play a key role in shaping the future of finance technology through artificial intelligence, cloud computing and modern software development. Working in a collaborative global environment, you'll design and deliver AI-powered applications, explore emerging technologies, and help integrate intelligent automation into business-critical financial systems. How you create impact
- Design, develop and maintain AI-powered solutions, including LLM-based document processing, intelligent extraction pipelines and agentic workflows.
- Build and deploy scalable web applications and microservices on AWS using Python, following cloud security best practices.
- Drive AI and machine learning research and development by evaluating new models, tools and technologies, creating prototypes and recommending adoption opportunities.
- Develop and optimise prompt engineering solutions for production AI applications.
- Manage and enhance AWS cloud infrastructure, including ECS, Lambda, S3 and CI/CD pipelines.
- Integrate AI capabilities into existing Financial IT applications, identifying opportunities to automate processes and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to assess new development requests and deliver innovative technical solutions.
- Support the evolution of next-generation finance platforms through AI-driven enhancements, data analysis and cloud-native technologies.

What we would like you to bring
- Strong commercial experience developing production-quality applications in Python.
- Experience with AI and machine learning, including LLM integration, prompt engineering and model evaluation.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on AWS or a comparable cloud platform.
- Some Java development experience to support integration with core ERP applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- AWS AI Practitioner certification (or equivalent), or a willingness to achieve this during your probation period.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, MongoDB, JavaScript/TypeScript or finance systems would be advantageous.
