Careers / AI Consultant

Open role

US-based

You did the job for a decade. Now teach an industry to do it with AI.

Our model pairs every client department with a consultant who actually worked in that discipline: finance with a finance veteran, ops with an ops veteran. You own client relationships, run discovery, and lead mid-market companies through becoming AI native.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you'll do

  • Own a portfolio of client relationships as their day-to-day AI lead
  • Run discovery and workflow mapping, and shape each client's 80/20 roadmap
  • Pair-program real automations with client teams in your discipline
  • Work alongside our engineers to turn what clients need into what gets built
  • Represent NWAI in the room with executives, plainly and without jargon

What we look for

  • A real career in a real discipline: finance, operations, sales, marketing, supply chain, legal, or similar
  • Daily, serious use of AI in your own work, you're the person colleagues already ask
  • The rare combination: technical enough to be credible, human enough to be trusted
  • Plain written and spoken communication, no consultant-speak
  • Comfort with ambiguity, small-team pace, and being measured on client outcomes

How to apply

Email consulting@nwai.co with the subject line "AI Consultant". Skip the formal cover letter. Send a few sentences on who you are, the most impressive thing you've built or taught, and why this role. If you've used Claude to do real work, tell us about that too.
